Abstract nature photography

Five short series that belong on one page, because they are all doing the same thing: pushing a natural subject far enough that it stops being a thing and becomes colour, rhythm and light.

Rhythmus is repetition. Secrets in Eden is a forest that will not hold still. Creation is land and weather at the point where they stop being either. Aura is light around a subject rather than on it. Silence in the Light is the quietest of them, and the closest to a photograph.

None of this is done afterwards. The movement and the layering happen in the camera, which is why the light behaves the way it does.
