Road to Freedom No.1

Two series that belong together. Road to Freedom is about the road itself: distance, patience and the particular optimism of a road that goes somewhere you cannot yet see. The Children of Geluk are the grandchildren of the old man on the farm at the end of it, photographed over several visits in black and white.
