Photo Alchemy works from the Memoirs of Light exhibition, where photographs are worked with wax, paint and transfer until they become objects.
Yesterday is the series where the camera stops being the last step. Each photograph is printed, then worked by hand with wax, paint, transfer and abrasion until the surface carries as much of the meaning as the image does.
They are not reproductions. Every piece is finished individually, which is why no two are the same.
